Hi all! I’m Steph. I’m a registered nurse blending art and medicine. I’ve trained in paramedical and cosmetic tattooing, specializing in areola and nipple restoration, scar camouflage, and microneedling. By trade, I’m a nurse case manager working full time in behavioral health, helping individuals access the resources and support they need to be successful in their communities. I also founded Professional Care Screenings in 2018, where I support families as a community case manager navigating long-term care placement for their loved ones. Being present for people during vulnerable, uncertain moments has always been important to me. ArteSana was born from a desire to blend medicine and art in a way that feels restorative, human, and intentional. When I first explored areola and paramedical tattooing, I signed up for a course feeling curious, but still unsure. Shortly after, my sister was diagnosed with stage II breast cancer. In that moment, everything aligned. I knew this work wasn’t random, it was purposeful. (She is doing amazing as well and is strong as hell🤍💪) Beyond my medical background, I’m also a Reiki practitioner, and my long term vision for ArteSana is to create a space that supports mind, body, and soul. A place that feels safe, inclusive, and a little unconventional. where healing is approached gently, holistically, and without judgment. My goal is to build people up, support mental health, honor the body, and help others feel truly seen and beautiful inside and out. I am a mom, a wife, a sister, and a daughter and family is at the center of everything I do.
